These new DR panels are cassette-sized and fit in a conventional film bucky without modification. The new 17x17 inch DR panels are larger and do not require you to rotate the film, unlike the older 14x17 inch CR or film cassettes, which improves imaging flexibility without the need to rotate the panel for positioning.

Advantages of Going Digital
The 17x17 flat panel DR offers the newest Cesium (Csi) TFT interface. Cesium is more sensitive to radiation and requires less dose to achieve the same image quality and contrast resolution. The larger 17x17 inch panel makes patient position easier without the need to rotate the panel as is common with older 14x17 CR and film cassettes. The panel offers Automatic Exposure Detection (AED) technology and will work with any viable xRay source. The fast tethered cable connection allows you to read images in just 6 sec. This is a cost-effective and workflow-efficient approach to veterinary digital radiographic imaging for any clinic.

1717 Digital Flat Panel Detector
The 17”x17” detectors utilize a combination of proprietary TFTs and high-quality Cesium Iodide (CsI) scintillators which, along with a 127-micron pixel pitch (3.9 lp/mm), assures delivery of exceptionally sharp, high-quality images.
Configuration
The 17”x17” Csi flat panel detector is easy to install in a standard cassette size Bucky tray. The tethered connector makes image acquisition a snap. Review images in just 6 sec.
